10 Representatives of Andover under 7s took part in the Alton festival on October 8th.
It was the first official festival / tag rugby match for the team (and the coaches!) and the kids did amazing.
The festival itself was well organised and Alton did a fantastic job.
We played games against Petersfield, Basingstoke, Winchester, Eastleigh and Alton and every game was played in great spirit and attitude.
It was quite a surprise for our kids, the first time playing against other children and with backwards passing in full effect they did so so well to learn fast and play with big smiles on their faces.
We look forward to building on this and continuing to learn and develop in our Sunday sessions, ready to have fun playing against other clubs in the coming weeks.
