We run rugby training for children aged 5-18. Our teams are organised in school year groups so players will always be playing with children of their own age. The RFU has an agreed set of rules for each age group that gradually introduce the skills and the rules of rugby.
Welcome to the home of the Andover RFC Academy Teams.
Our academy is the backbone of our club and we are very proud to have teams from under 6 all the way through to seniors.
Over the years many of our senior players have come right through the academy.
We teach the values of rugby, competition, teamwork and community. Please choose the relevant age group for your child to see more information including who to contact if you’re interested in more info.
Training usually takes place at Andover RFC.
Minis Rugby takes place from 10am (Sunday)
Junior Rugby takes place from 10:30am (Sunday)
Juniors also train midweek: U13s Wednesday; U15s Thursday; and U14s TBC.
If this varies across the season the team manager will keep the parents updated each week.
For our minis team we do ask that a parent/guardian does stay during training. But the juniors you can still come and watch or you can drop them off and collect them after.
Kit can be purchased directly from the club, please speak with the team behind the bar.
We also sell second hand.
