Bath Rugby & Former Andover Academy Member joins u15s for some intense forwards training.

A cold and dark Thursday night training session was made that little bit brighter during March with the arrival of guest coach Mikey Summerfield.

Mikey, more used to the training ground of Bath Rugby, returned to his childhood club to help with training of the Andover u15s team. Under the floodlights there was specific forwards, line out and scrum training as well as more wider training for the whole team.

The under 15 team have seen great success this year, being crowned Hampshire division 2 champions,  and based on skills on display at this session, there’s no reason why next season won’t be just as successful. Certainly that was the option of Mikey as the session concluded and a tired squad left the field with smiles on their faces!
